Default can't listen to Ghost anymore

I know everyone in here is a picky overly analyzed rap fan in here, myself included

I just can't hear him and still get the same vibe I used to

It's funny how you can go from really 'digging' someone to thinking they're actually just a great big fatoosh.

I could've gotten that for like 4 buck at best buy, but I passed on it. isn't that the record where even the track listing is all wrong? from what I heard, that record is like Nas' "I Am..." in other words, it could've been so much more but samples and shit fucked it up

that's going too far. he's still one of the most versatile MCs out there. his lyrics are inventive as hell. and who the hell knows what he'll sound like on the MF DOOM album...it's not going to be generic thug shit

Ghostface Killah's next two pieces of work will be on point his shit from After Fishscale to Apollo Kids has that rushed feel to it, they're still bangers though, Imagine when he takes his time like he's doing now.......oh yeah to thread starter, go listen to U-God then lol
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.
