i heard alot of cats sayin this was a mediocre album, i thought they needed to be shot point blank with a 12 gauge (a big shotgun for u illiterate folk). every track on the album is a classic to me, i'm listening to My country, (song on the album) right now, and the shit is dope.

I love the album one of few albums I can let play all the way through. i think people needs to stop comparing the past to the present and compare the present to the present. Look at what's out and then compare it to other albums not his past work. Like wu tang 36 cant be compared to anything that's not in that era. of course it was written was light years ahead of it but so was the game at that time compared to the game now

What do I think??? I think it's a fucking classic. At the time that album was released commercial hip-hop was on the uprise and is still on the uprise today, shits taken over, but regardless... Nas bought it back to the real on that joint, pure illness, definitely a modern day classic anyway. ONE
