thanks for showin love to one of the most lryrical mc's of our time
(meth is another great too, in my opinion)
Fucken classic, and I mean real classic(OBFCL, 36 chambers, ready to die, wu-forever, illmatic) that type of classic. From start to end amazing. Soooo many quotables. "Poison" is a song that made me think before I do. "Ether" could not have had a better title because it looked like Jay-Z was fucked up on cocaine after that song(looking weak like a Fein). Last classic to drop along with "The Fix" Scarface. Dam I miss this type of hiphop.
Nas was pressured by the media and by his fans to make a good album, after Jay-Z dissed him. He certainly did not dissapoint with Stillmatic! I don't really like to use the "C" word, but with this one I have it. It's a classic, because he proved everybody wrong and came back harder than expected, and Ether had a big impact on the Hip Hop community and the history. Very good album
Illmatic
Lost Tapes
It Was Written
Stillmatic
don't forget God's Son, that was a banga too

It might jus be me....
ORPHANS OF CUSH
OUT SOON
This is another Nas classic for me. Smoking gets alot of hate, when I feel Nas was very good on the track. Only Nas can rock these mellow track and make them enjoyable to listen to. If I had to pick one oustanding song (which is extremely hard) it would be What's Goes Around/Poison. He composed a classic song by breakind down the ill of this society. He should of released this as a single.
My only complaint is BraveHeart Party? Thank God, when I bought another Stillmatic, this song was not on the album.
Note to Nas "KEEP KELIS AND BRAVEHEARTS (although Zone Out was nice) OFF YOUR ALBUMS"
poison is my favorite song on the album (aside from ether and my country)
Destroy & Rebuild
stillmatic is definitely NaS's 3d bets album, does not compare to illmatic or it was written (which is sic)
I was listening to this earlier, I still think there could have been some better beats on the second half of the album, but lyrically he keeps a good standard.
I like it more than God's Son, mabye because I used to listen to that so much I got sick of it...
first there was illmatic, then STILLmatic? umm whats wrong with these title's 8) he wasnt Stillmatic.
If I Offend You .. Fuck You I Intend To ..
It is a good album it brings more diverse ideas than any of his other shits oh and that rewind and the intro were amazing
