An animated spin-off of the film is being produced for Cartoon Network 's late night programming block, Adult Swim, with animation production by the same team behind The Boondocks. Michael Jai White, Byron Minns, Tommy Davidson and Kym Whitley reprise their film roles as Black Dynamite, Bullhorn, Cream Corn and Honeybee, respectively. Like the movie, the show is predominantly a parody of and tribute to blaxploitation cinema
