Nice
word, i was fucking blow away when i first heard this... ChrisCo has really shown and prove lately, first an EP with Alchemist, now a single with eLzhi and Jon Connor.. over DJ Premier nontheless. i'm defo looking foe this kids full-length
daily updates: news, articles, reviews, the best compilations on the net. that true skool street hop!
r.i.p. Johan D, Kaddu, Ricke a.k.a. "Slick Rick" and the rest of the fallen soldiers - you'll never be forgotten!
HEARD THE FIRST WACK DUDE AND TURNED IT OFf
honestly, when this beat kicked in all i could think was with guru on this it would have been a dope ass gangstarr album cut.
the beat is proof that premier is still the man.
What's so memorable about this and makes it a banger?
lol You is a typical DJ Premier beat that he can make in 5 minutes
but that Soulkast beat is dope
bring back begongo!!
yeah too bad Soulkast is weak though, dude couldnt flow shoulda got IAM on it
I don't like the rap but that beat was great. Premier is great but he's doing the same thing over and over again and isn't really versatile. He was one of the greatest with RZA and Pete Rock in the 90s but those 2 are better and Dilla is a lot better to be honest. His choptechniques are lightyears ahead of anyone else. Pete Rock was blown away when he heard Dilla and all the beats Dilla showed him, look at the interviews.
I already know how Premier's next beat is going to be like; 2 bar loop, some drums and the hook has scratches. It's his style but I think he should do some other shit at times.
Dilla's the greatest, don't kill me now Premo-fans. Only competition was Pete Rock and RZA in 90s and Nujabes.
