I think its really dope, Madchild is a beast, the beats are dope, and guest are on point.

cool to see MadChild finally with is debut solo LP, because the guy is dope and has been one of my favorite MC´s in a while.

whats Wu-Corp opinion on this LP?

That's wtf I'm sayin'. But, given the fact that there's people here who actually swear by people like Jay-Z, aimlessly trying to plead their case with credits to his admittance of diliberatly not rhyming worth a shit, it's no surprise that it's kinda quiet right now.

I haven't heard the entire album, just a few cuts, and honestly, this may well be one of the best albums ever made.

I'm glad Mad Child is doing what he's doing.

P.S. you should all go to YouTube and watch the official "Fuck Mad Child" video. Phil Da Agony's verse isn't on it, but it's worth it.

I've never really felt Madchild's solo debut and his beat choices lately have been questionable. Definitely check this though, seeing as C-Lance is spreading his beats. I liked how Madchild came out of the woodwork to appear in a battle on KOTD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_m-Y9IXlt3Y

Nope. Not feeling it that much. Too many raps about 'I'm this, I'm that', some dope flows, and good imagery (I even heard a shot at Tyler the Creator)...but I'm not feeling those beats. At least not all of them.....seems like the same beats Slaine raps all the time. It's clearly made for people that think only hardcore raw really bumps, but to be fair, this isn't even that raw. Especially with his silly voice.

But that's just my opinion. 3/5
Good rapper, but not much of a musician.

Made for people who think only hardcore raw really bumps. You could say that about "6 Feet Deep" and a few others. Yes, there are some great beats on there but these albums aren't meant to be in constant rotation. It's obviously meant to be played at certain times in a person's life, just like the aforementioned album.

Everyone has their own opinion though and I still have to listen to all of it.

great album, prefer to hear him with swollen members though rather than a solo artist cos his voice can get a bit annoying after a while. Few recycled tracks too from his mixtapes but overall I definatly like it, worth buying. favourite tracks so far are Battleaxe, Grenade launcher, Freak, Mongoloid & Reaper

what has strong personality to do with the voice?

yeah you could say that 6 Feet Deep is made for raw entusiasts, but at least I can understand the motive behind that music, at that time. plus it's really good music. now this is just like every other Swollen Member album, IMO. nothing new there. I'd rather listen to Hopsin, and I don't even listen to him. I liked Swollen Members as a teenager, but not anymore.

I preefer MadChild solo to Swollen Members, because Prevail is boring sometimes, MadChild is not. I like his personality, plus I like his voice, its the same kind of voice as B-Real or Sick Jacken, and I like those kind of voices.

    This is on point.

Grenade Launcher is probably the best put together song on the album. C-Lance came through on all his beats and they're a different style then he gives JMT. Little Monster Blend is a good blend and concept song. Mongoloid, Freak, Wanted, and Out of my Head are all above average tracks. 'Judgement Day' has a bit of commercial appeal. This track sounds similar to another mainstream song, just can't place it. The other tracks are average at best and round this album out as a 3/5 effort.

Madchild is what makes Swollen Members, but his group albums are much better to listen too. It's similar to what we hear everytime a Vinnie Paz solo comes out. Their verses are usually more potent on group albums, Rob the Viking/Stoupe makes the album more cohesive, Prevail/Jus Allah always comes through with a decent verse and flow, and their hooks are usually decent scratches or features.
