Default Vespertina (Stoupe & Lorrie Doriza)

Their debut album 'The Waiting Wolf' is available for free download. If you passed on it so far you got no reason to now, unless you dislike dope music. DL here, http://vespertina.bandcamp.com/ If your in the seemingly rare now-a-days mood to financially support an artist you can cop the album, among other things, here http://www.merchdirect.com/Vespertina I still bump this album from time to time. Personally, it's a classic.

i have to agree that Dutch is more up my alley but the Vespertina album is cool too, very unique and i gotta give huge props to Stoupe for doing what he feels is right rather than trying to conform to Jedi Mind Tricks. this is still hip-hop based but i hope he one day return to more traditional hip-hop... the song he had with M.O.P. on "Decalouge" is still on rotation to this day.

    great post Meta4, thanks

    The Waiting Wolf is incredible.

I'm definitely looking forward to the follow up album.

There's 3 tracks on each album that I still listen to periodically.

    Dutch - California Cloaked in Wool ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wAAm7y0pco )
    Dutch - Meaning of Unequipped ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gGvCLm0nCM )
    Dutch - Tristess ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctFoMdfm6I8 )

    Vespertina - Plastic ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hP5eL9pqfxc )
    Vespertina - Without a Doubt ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZA1ijCIVrg )
    Vespertina - Girl in the Basement ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dt5oQxn7Wo )

Is there any news about a follow up album? I seem to remember Liz releasing another album (Honey Watts?) but heard nothing about it, since Stoupe wasn't involved. I wanted to check it out anyways, but couldn't find any samplers.
