"It has been postponed, Dark Matter comes first then the sequel to LS, but I expect that to take a very long time."

Your right it will take a long time but because LSII doesn't come out after this, Liquid Swords 1.5 arrives then he also spoke about doing a album about water continuing the science theme & THEN LSII drops supposedly

Liquid swords 1.5? lol hahahaha liquid swords II = Wheelchair rap
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.

I do not have high expectations for this and I love GZA. Obviously his flow has been an issue as of late. And also I think by the second track the theme of the album will become tiring. Time will tell. Peace

Yes that sounds really weird. Just call it Liquid Swords Live instead if you're doing it with a live band. I don't think he meant it was actually going to be called Liquid Swords 1.5, more as an idea.

"Dark Matter" is scheduled for a fall release. Another album will focus on the life aquatic, a subject he's fleshing out with visits to the labs of marine biologists and researchers, as well as meetings with the likes of Philippe Cousteau.

"After 'Dark Matter,' he said, "we'll be back on earth, but in the ocean."

In between will come "Liquid Swords 1.5," for which GZA will re-record the lyrics to his beloved 1995 album "Liquid Swords," backed by live bands.

Composer and producer Marco Vitali, a Juilliard-trained violinist, is helping to score "Dark Matter." He recalled a recent meeting in which GZA explained the images that the music should convey.

If "Dark Matter" is a fall release, it must be coming out in September 2013, because it's winter now.

I'm still a fan of GZA, and Dark Matter is a great concept, but I hate his Nyquil flow. He could at least sound as engaged as he was on Beneath The Surface and Legend of a Liquid Sword.

Also, really, Liquid Swords 2? GZA and RZA are in totally different chambers in 2012. I guess Rae did it with Cuban Linx 2, but he needed a decade and beats from dozens of other producers.

GZA will never retire...because rappers never retire. They either die or become irrelevant. Not one rapper has ever put out a Big Retirement Album, and stopped making music. The Genius has to be smart enough to know this.

Saw that yesterday on his Facebook. Looks way better than Pro Tools. Still don't like the GZA in the second picture.
