    since its almost over, lets reflect.

    i havent got to listen to a lot of shit lately, but i'll start with the no brainer albums of the year.
    in no paticular order whatsoever.























    what am i missing/sleeping on here?

    bad album cover and title, but it's the best hip-hop album of the year. allmusic.com, the hipsters over at pitchfork, and rap mags all love it. that's RARE. better than marcberg (wtf kinda title is that??)



    double album, some filler material, but it might be his best work since his debut from 1996, maybe better.



    if you're from Philly and don't listen to JMT, you're a weak-wristed faggot. move to canada



    only I know about this record. you're not cool enough to discover it. came out last year and it's an EP, but fuck it

    That Chino album had great lyrics. He put a lot of work into that, shame production wasn't on the same level as his rapping, cause then it probably would have been a much better album.


    Kevlaar's album "Die Ageless" was also dope. Bring the hate.

    reloaded is up there. bangin ass album.


    aint heard guilty or paz's albums yet.




    i just listened to chino's double album. he can still spit, but the beats are mediocre at best.

    Agreed, he actually might be at his best. Some really good concepts on there, but the beats make it hard to listen to.

    Y'all already posted all the east coast tapes

    Album of the year for me is tied Roc Marciano and Wu Block

    But here are some Southern tapes that went hard this year (exception being Freddie cuz he's from the Midwest)









    And yes this tape did go hard fuck you backpackers
