Get On Down's Nas – Illmatic Deluxe Gold Edition Box Set
Today, Get On Down releases their newest exclusive box set with Nas' Illmatic. As with their Raekwon set, we're getting a look at the packaging and features that are included in the CD set. A vinyl set as well as a bundle (consisting of both packages) will be released at the same time. Take a look at the assortment of items below.
The CD set includes:
- 24k Audiophile Gold Disc CD with re-mastered audio, housed in a "Cherrywood Trophy Box" with gold plaque.
- Black 2-piece outer box with original 'Nas' promotional sticker exclusive to Get on Down.com Orders.
- 48 page full-color, hard cover liner notes book including extended artwork, full album lyrics and liner notes from The Source founder Jon Shecter.
- A reproduction of the original 1994 illmatic press release.
- Two 8 x10 glossy promo photo's used in the illmatic campaign.
- Rare 1994 promotional poster with full album lyrics printed on the back.
The Vinyl set includes:
- Vinyl LP packaged with full lyric insert
- 48 page full-color, hard cover liner notes book including extended artwork, full album lyrics and liner notes from The Source founder Jon Shecter.
- A reproduction of the original 1994 illmatic press release
- Two 8 x10 glossy promo photo's used in the illmatic campaign
- Rare 1994 promotional poster with full album lyrics printed on the back
Price is still unknown, but I think this will definitely cost more than the average Get On Down re-release. Why didn't they do the same shit with Liquid Swords, all they did is add a poster to the vinyl collection.
Get On Down is doing re-releases good tho.

The price of the CD set is 35 dollars, I ordered mine on Saturday and it's been dispatched already.
Peace!
