Damn nigga lol.^ Classic I guess!
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.

i cant believe there are ppl hatin on this shit...

this is one of my fav albums of all time...its only recently grew on me like that tho, i used to only listen to it for the sick Rza verses...

then i started just lettin it play n i realized that the production on this album is fuckin AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGG..

for me this has gotta be 10/10...i dono what a 10 is if this album isnt..

beats are amazing (Rza, True Master, 4th, Poetic kills)..Rza is in my fav Rza personality (12 Jewelz!!!!!)...and i didnt realize how insnae Poetic n Frukwan were until givin this shit a good listen....

listenin to this shit wen im mad high i can feel my fuckin brain tingle on some of these songs....Never Gonna Come Back is fuckin amazing,,,,Poetic verse reminds me of a futuristic comic book or somethin..

This shit sucks ass, sorry but for some reason the trend on this album is that the beats dont mesh with the flows. Only two tracks sound complete Unexplained and The Night The Earth Cried. While the lyrics are well written the emcees dont really mesh with the beats like they should on most of the tracks. Alot of it sounds like it was half assed and shoulda been redone once or twice. Take Fairytalez for instance, great beat but what the fuck is with that flow on the first verse? This type of crap is repeated throughout most of the album.

Ive listened through the whole album about 3 times. Please dont ask me to punish myself with more. Its not like the flows and beats will go together better with further listens (unless maybe im stoned as fuck one day)

It sounds like they recorded the vocals on another beat and put it on these.

Its not only the quality of music that makes it hard to listen to... the fact that its a total disappointment compared to 6 Feet Deep is enough to make me even want to listen through this one more time.

What?! Wow... Wu fans that don't like this?

This album is a personal classic of mine. Start to finish.

I was actually really impressed at the way this was such a far cry from '6 Feet Deep'. It's like it made both albums shine brighter for me. I reckon I woulda been bored with the whole style of the previous album in hindsight.

    10/10, no worries.

'The Night The Earth Cried' has to be one of my favourite tracks/clips too.
