Definitely dope album. I gotta say though i've always liked 6 Feet Deep more, just cause of a couple problems I got with this album...
For one, I loved the crazy abstract/horrorcore aspect of the first Diggaz album so I was kinda disappointed to see that go away on this. Secondly, not alot of Rza at all. He was so ill on 6 Feet Deep with the Rza-rectah style so would've liked to see him more on this. Also the production I don't think is as tight as 6 Feet Deep. And I was reeeally disappointed at not having Prince Paul really produce anything (I think he did the outro or somethin I forget).
Still, criticisms aside, Fruk and Poetic definitely hold it down and some great lyrics throughout this album. 8.5/10 for me.
"We don't need no diamond rings
All we need is a drum like
Fuck it, he can rhyme, I'll sing"
I love it... Dangerouz Minds made it for me.
a fucking classic!!!
always liked it more than 6 feet deep
tracks like 12 jewelz, fairytalez, whats going on, and Deadliest biz just cant be fucked with!
I accually prefer this album over 6 Feet Deep
My favorite Rza verse of all time is on Dangerous Mindz, I fuckin love that track
"The skywalker, that be leapin' over planets"
This is my fave Gravediggaz album and my introduction to the group.
"I pledge allegiance to the hip hop"Method Man
Superior for me...
If any1 else made this album, I will say true classic, but cuz of 6 feet deep I must say superior...
9/10
crazy album 8/10...but i liked 6 feet deep better...
Both are great albums, but the Pick...shovel shit was off the chain.the production on that album was truely classic.
I always liked "Rzarector" better than "Bobby Digital" lyrically anyway.
I think 6 Feet Deep is waaay better than that Album... It's not the raw hardcore GraveDiggaz from Niggamortis...
