I see your point.I have a very conservative view about tattoos.
I believe that my body is GOD's temple and my soul is just temporarily using this vessel to prove my worthiness as a soul in this universal dimension on this plane in this lifetime.
Therefore, I do not vandalize, graffiti, mark up, or purposely try to put marks or make any significant modifications to this temple.
That doesn't mean I can't get a tooth capped or a filling or cut my hair or have surgery to survive or even use artificial arms or legs to help me along my way.
Others are very different. I don't really judge them. They mark up their whole bodies, get tattoos, piercings, implants, whatever. They choose to do that. I think they are trashing a temple. Perhaps their souls are still good but I rather not travel through a trashed, vandalized vessel.
So I probably won't get tattoos or piercings. That's just me. You can do what you want with your body in my opinion which i guess means you can abuse your own body with drugs too. I don't advise it.
This is what I will teach my children. I hope they do not mark up and pollute and use their bodies to do graffiti. Have some respect for your own bodies. You are not of your own, the bible claims. God made you the way you are. Everything you love about yourself GOD provided you. The things you don't like about yourself, God did for some reason. Maybe as a test or a fortune or a challenge or a gift. Who knows? Why question wisdom greater than mine?
