NYPD Lied Under Oath to Prosecute OWS Activist
In 2011, the Occupy Wall Street movement took America by storm. Many citizens across the country stood-up against the injustice brought on by the big banks, and although a majority of the demonstrations were non-violent, police continuously used excessive force against the protesters. In New York, OWS activist Michael Premo was accused of assaulting a police officer, but video evidence proved his innocence and also showed how the NYPD lied in their testimony.
