Im actually kinda pissed they way this has all gone down in the last few weeks.
1. Late FEB - Band Camp/ Soul Temple announce presale options for 12 Reasons To Die and entice fast orders for bonuses to those who are amongst the first to order. It appeared this was the only way to get the extra goodies, no mention of Get On Down.
2. Early APR - Get On Down announces deluxe packages for 12 Reasons To Die, putting to shame the goodies Band Camp/ Soul Temple offered for early orders.
Fuckin pissed I preordered this with bamdcamp now, the standard soul temple box set looks a lot doper (don't get the tshirt) but get different cover art for the vinyl and a dope looking box to house everything in.
Saying that though, the bandcamp worked out at like 60 euro and the standard getondown came to over 80 euro. As dope as the full delux is, I'm not paying 150 euro for anything
Plus the getondown vinyl is blood red and mixed clear vinyl.
In February, when the first bundle when up for sale, Soul Temple had no deal with GetOnDown. They are separate company. During March they approached us about wanting to this version and it was worked out. It wasn't a bait and switch. If any of the Wu-Corps want to cancel their Bandcamp order, in favor of getting the new version, they can do that...
But do it quick though, all of the "Private Press" copies are already sold out and most of the other version have already been ordered too...
^fuck it, the bandcamp one is cheaper, if I had money I'd change order.
Btw my girlfriend ordered that 5 cd Man With The Iron Fists set for me for Christmas and she still never received the fuckin thing, despite sending emails, wat da fuck is u with that?
