That's why we do the do, just know who is who, acknowledge me all day, and understand Wu is Wu - Chef Raekwon
I'm hood ornaments, junkies win awards in my tournaments - Chef Raekwon
idk but he basically ate gza on that. If he was making a diss track and used that line, Gza would have some shit to worry about.
He's not saying "waterproofing Liquid Swordz", he's saying "Waterproof AND Liquid Swordz, the world never heard this before" Waterproof is the name of a song by Ras, except it's spelled H20proof.
So foolish - people saying Rass ate Gza - or Ras world crush Gza in a battle. First of all Gza doesn't battle like that anymore, he's an OG. Second of all - they'll never battle, cuz they aren't enemies........................................... ............................. Third - of course Rass' verses were longer and he appears hungrier - shit Gza already has done his thing. Sold his records. Proved himself as the nicest lyricist. AND he comes correct on both of those songs, half short/twice strong. You guys speak nonsense - plus you can't even get the quotes right.
"...when i was 12, i went to hell for snuffin Jesus" -GOD's SON
no way rass took gza,
gza killed that verse i hardly listen to rass verse
ras kass aka the waterproof mc, h20proof. thats who he is and has been
Rza kills both of them verses - so articulate
good flow too
"...when i was 12, i went to hell for snuffin Jesus" -GOD's SON
In that line Ras is probably reffering to himself as "waterproof" and Gza as "liquid swords".........sayin the world aint never heard us 2 together
Thanks for the info, surely makes more sense than what I thought it was.

I almost creamed my pants when i heard that line. I still can't choose who i liked better on this song. Both MC's killed itOriginally Posted by xTwX 0106

actually, gza hasn't sold that many more records than rass as a solo artist
How many albums does Ras have? Just out of curiosity. I have Rassassination and gonna get Institutionalized...and I know theres like 2 more out there. So thats 4 for him (that I know of), GZA has 5. And GZA has established himself as a ongoing amazing lyricist, not saying Ras isn't, but GZA....is the Genius.
The year 2002...the battle still with the WU
they both been around a real long time in the industry, Gza probably slightly longer, more people will tend to see gza as the better mc due to the fact that he's had more shine than ras kass, but both are sick.
check Soul On Ice by Ras Kass, dope album...
Ras Kass albums:
Soul on Ice (his best one, and one of the greatest albums ever) '96
Rassasination Day '98
Van Gogh '01
Institutionalized '05
and some compilation album that i dont remember the name of right now.
Ras Kass is mad sick, and very slept on. Lyrically he definetly is up there with GZA, but GZA is still the better MC in my opinion. Both in my top 5 for sure
I just don't like you, thats all.
