Lol I like to hear GZA with this energyike he used too, but I must say I thought he sounded like he was trying to be his former self rather than sound like he naturally flowed it. You know for some flows change with the times? I even find myself flowing slower , quieter than before sometimes but I think some need to beef up the energy like GZA and RAE , their styles to complex to spit in an unenergetic way. And GZA style was always a loud talky style anyway so lowering the tone just not good!

it's clever, but in all fairness, times have changed, music has changed, rappers have changed and we still expect the best from the wu.

maybe it's unfair to them, but they did set high standards for themselves. I still love these motherfuckers, but I'm not gonna lie, except for Rae and Ghost, all those Action Bronson, Danny Brown types killing it more in the game. new energy, old classic feel.
