Exclusive: Less than six months after the acclaimed CZARFACE collaborative album between 7L & Esoteric and Inspectah Deck, a sophomore is confirmed in the works.

In February of this year, veteran Boston, Massachusetts duo 7L & Esoteric teamed with Wu-Tang Clan lyricist Inspectah Deck to release CZARFACE. The Brick Records album which featured Ghostface Killah, Vinnie Paz and Roc Marciano debuted on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts, and already futured a second pressing of the album's CD version. Additionally, action figures were released and subsequently sold out, along with limited edition vinyl.

Less than six months later, DJ 7L, who produced all but one song from the first installment, confirmed a follow-up. "The first CZARFACE was a pet project of ours and fans really responded to the chemistry," 7L told HipHopDX, along with premiering the video to "Hazmat Rap." "[Inspectah] Deck called it a duel, I think it was a knock down, drag out, slugfest...12 rounds. Now, for the rematch we know our strengths and fighting styles even better...expect brutality."

No release date has been given at present for CZARFACE 2.

Esoteric is also at work on his seventh studio album, and first with Man Bites Dog Records. Inspectah Deck is presently on tour with Wu-Tang Clan.

wouldnt go that far but czarface was a solid album.
