esoteric is unlistenable. one of the corniest "rappers" i've heard in a long while. on top of having a horrible voice.
the esoteric-less version of czarface is one of the better deck solo albums. but that aint saying much.

"Let It Off" is better. Eso even outshined Deck practically on all the songs. All of yall know Deck didn't even try on this record.

all the beats on czarface were pretty much trash honestly... flat production with no soul that wants to be boom bap when the guy producing it cant do that style, never could, never has, and never will... 7l has a gay disco vibe about him when at his best... and when he tries going dark it ends up being some prog rock dull shit that puts anyone not into wigger raps about dogs and marvel to sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!
deck was sleep walking on that project.. one take after smoke drinks and clearing out esos fridge... im sure eso was constantly cleaning up his place after deck came through and bodied him with lazy shit...
this song is better than ALL of czarface and the verse deck spits destroys everything he did on that record...
esoteric sells no records... has a weak fanbase... cant get good shows... yet he has ALL KINDS of merch... YEARS AND YEARS of albums to his name with spots at retail... its not becuase eso is succesful at MOVING this product.. he has some serious money behind him to keep coming back after yrs and yrs of nothing!!!!!!! deck can get more ppl to his own show than he can with esoteric/deck show but deck is a lazy fuck thats too dumb to figure it out... he wants the easy $ which is to show up spit some lazy shit for some spoiled geek and be done with it... i get it but a lot of you do not...

He really did, yall are playing yourselves if you really thought Deck's simplistic rhymes on Cazr were anything of his former caliber. Hell even Deck's verse on Everest puts everything on Czar to shame.

No every producer puts out garbage, Premier included. No one is safe from that. He just happened to give those 2 a good track.
Uncontrolled Substance was a huge disappointment when it came out. People only like it more now because Deck's solo career got MUCH MUCH WORSE.
US and CZARFACE are a tie to me. You can argue over what's better, but there's not a clear winner, except in Wu-faniSTAN.
But hey, I'll give you guys the benefit of the doubt. Let's say Uncontrolled Substance was great. That was in 1998. Deck went on to drop two truly horrible solo albums, as well as some average-at-best mixtapes and "street albums." Who. The fuck. Wants more of that? Seriously? You guys think The Manifest is good? You want more of THAT? You want The Movement II? Come the fuck on.
CZARFACE is the only good album Deck has done in 15 years.
I don't know who the fuck 7L & Esoteric are, but they made it happen. Esoteric sounded fine. He's about on par with the Wu-Tang B-team and C-team, that the Wu-Tang A-Team has forced us to listen to.
So, yeah...CZARFACE 2 is the best news possible for Deck.
