I met D/R Period a couple of weeks ago and I asked him about Trigger Tha Gambler's album Life's A 50/50 Gamble he entirely produced that was shelved by Def Jam. He said it was shelved because Trigger was brought in by an older generation of Def Jam employees and when the newer generation came in, they got rid of all the previous artists and signed who they wanted to sign, that is why it was never released. That was back in 1996.
