During the last 39 official matches they made, France lost only once (against Greece in the Euro) and won 26 times. None of the top national team did as well (Brazil, Argentina, England, Holland, Italy etc ...)... but still, they seem boring and ordinary, that's strange.

I agree with you for France, but the stats are impressive.

Why hakan sukur playes is beyond me. I get really angry when i see him in the squad there are far better strikers than him in turkey. the current top scorer in turkey umit karan aint even in the squad. top goalscorars for the past three years havent even been called to the team because they played for teams that werent the 3 big clubs. halil altintop has like scored 7 goals in the bundesliga he still isnt first choice. the manager before was sacked for not playing hakan sukur.
the game against the swiss i saw the worst turkish team ever. it seems that they dont have the heart to play anymore and cant be bothered. I expected us to be motivated after our national anthem was booed and the swiss player tried to kick a ball at the turkish bench and swore at our coach. Although we wont win this tie i think the fans will give all hell to the swiss players as the media have hyped the actions of the swiss.
sad to see turkey just be one hit wonders 4 years ago, i dont even think we could get any better. at the moment there only one team in turkey and all the players care more about the money they get rather than national pride and honour for playing for their country.
