I cant belive youre saying this, you know sampling is the essence of Hip Hop, the Wu Tang/RZA sound is built on samples! Every legendary producer is based in samples.

The reason hiphop is so bullshit now is that producers ARENT using samples (Kanye West, name any popular prod now)

beat jacking is what HIP HOP is first and foremost, then its what Rza & Wu are...

and it probably got pushed bac cos of sample clearance, bullshit, cos u know for fact that DTP album is gonna have samples on it, and pretty much any other Def Jam release, sampling is part of the essence of hip hop, before we had mc's/rappers, we had sampling, its just that it was done on 2 turntables instead of a sampler.

this is shit that it got pushed bacc, but what do u expect...this is def jam. i remember when def jam used to be a force within hip hop, now its just another RnB label with a couple of rappers on it.
