Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.
agree with everything except 8D.

Enter = Meth/ODB
Forever = Ghostface then RZA or U-God
The W = Ghostface
Iron Flag = GZA has beautiful verses on this
8 Diagrams = Meth/U-God
Ghost was a total fag on The W.
Even though I've been a Ghost hater since that album I still think he shined on Iron Flag and 8 Diagrams. Total fucking fag on The W though. That was the beginning of the end for me.
I couldn't be fucked thinking about the whole MVP thing, but Rae, Ghost and Deck murdered every Wu album (except Ghost on The W), and Gza murdered every one except 8D.
GHOST IS THE WU GOAT
AND GHOST DID CLASSIC ON HOLLOW BONES, AND THAT FUNNY VERSE WERE HE SAYS HE BEGS FOR FORGIVENESs
MVP :
GHOST
RUNNER UP :
CAPPADONNA
Enter the 36- Inspectah Deck. So consistent, so many quotables, every great track has a great INS verse. "I smoke on the mic like smokin' joe frazier..."
Wu-Forever- RZA. Everybody brings their best but this album is The Clan's best because RZA steps up to deliver on the mic as well as with the beats.
The W- Ghostface. He's at peak performance right here, wish he was on every track.
Iron Flag- Inspectah Deck. The best songs on this album are good because Deck kills it.
8 Diagrams- Raekwon, basically just because he's everywhere on it.
Good thread.
36 Chambers - GZA and Inspectah Deck
Wu-Tang Forever - Inspectah Deck and Ghostface
The W - I honestly can't say. Have to listen again carefully, never thought about it.
Iron Flag - GZA and Inspectah Deck
8 Diagrams - U-God and Method Man
The most important role was always RZA though.
36 - Gza (his prime)
Forever - Inspectah Deck
The W - Ghost
Iron Flag - ?
8 Diagrams - U-God or Masta Killa
36
