3 episodes left. Last one was a full Gene Takovic story.
Saul should have kept a low profile. He's finished.
Loyalty is Royalty. Strength and Loyalty
He can't help himself. I feel worse for Kim, sad to see her become a square, and so ashamed of herself.
Looking forward to the finale.
The Omaha locale is golden for me. The football talk is actually spot on for the year it is set in. The producers or director did their homework.
^none of it was filmed here. The black and white was used for that reason. For the finale, as long as he doesn't end up dead or in jail I will be happy.
^ Seems like he would do okay in jail, but yeah I don't want to see that.
Damn. He had seven years but got life.
Loyalty is Royalty. Strength and Loyalty
He needed Kim to understand. Thats all he cared about in the end.
Depressing end though, you always want to see the hero somehow beat the odds. I feel like Kim will visit him every week for a conjugal visit but IDK.
So I'm not happy with the ending. It seems most of the legendary series have a difficult time finding how to end it, so it wasn't surprising. I would have shown Jimmy after his 7 year stint back in the real world trying to hustle his way back at a even lower level meager job. It would..make more sense.
Before I saw the final, I would have loved to see him in Hawaii or some other sweet location rather than jail.
Vince Gilligan has said theres probably going to be more stuff in this universe.
that'd be cool. maybe the rise (and fall) of one of the full on bad guy drug lords. but two things, you gotta make the guy likable too somewhat (e.g. family context) and there has to be either internal conflict (morals, ethics) or comedic elements to set it apart from the whole Narcos thing and to keep it in line with the overall Breaking Saul Universe / BSU (I'm calling it that going forward lol)
but they could easily dive into other characters too, there's so many great characters throughout both shows
Retired.
I think a Bill Burr & Huell show would be hilarious. If I had the means I would pitch it to Vince myself.
Dwelling on the final season, something about Carol Burnett character being the final demise of Saul seems Ike a bridge to far. What would have been a better ending?
