    thanks for these bro!!

damn, i need to check that M1, Brian Jackson & The Midnight Band album.. sounds very refreshing with the funky jazz thing going on, and not on some sampled loops either. actually sounds like a record that could have been released in the '70s if it wasn't for the rap which fits right in anyway... the chorus is HOT too!

again much props for this, because i would probably have missed out on this album otherwise as i remember seeing something about it but just scrolled past on account of M1 not being too impressive as of late. reading up on it now and the guest features are very impressive - some jazz legends like Eddie Henderson, Bill Summers, Ron Carter, Airto, as well as both dead prez members, Chuck D, Georgia Anne Muldrow & Declaime,, etc....

    the other track is ok

daily updates: news, articles, reviews, the best compilations on the net. that true skool street hop!

r.i.p. Johan D, Kaddu, Ricke a.k.a. "Slick Rick" and the rest of the fallen soldiers - you'll never be forgotten!
