common.
dont get me wrong, i bang some of his shit & think he has classic songs.
but hes always sounded like a nerd with a stopped up nose to me.
lil waynes voice makes me want to strangle the life out of him to make the sound stop.
Also Chino XL and Lloyd Banks. I like Make it Stack from Banks but that's it. I've also seen him at a panini shop in Queens before and he was cool, but his music lacks something
Jay Z
I cannot listen.
The whole point of the thread is naming artist others people like but you think suck... if you no one is shocked then you really aren't posting anything meaningful. I literally have no clue how anyone with respectable taste could like them...
It's pretty similar to someone naming Mos Def, i don't get how anyone COULDN'T like him... but that's the point of the thread.
I think overexposure and repetitive lyrics killed him for me, but i was a fan.
Not everybody likes him but Talib Kweli comes to mind because i just heard that song with Raekwon and it reminded me that hes by far the most phenomenally boring emcee of all time. Who are the people that have sustained this guys career through the years? Who considers themself the biggest kweli fan in the world?
i like Talib but only in small doses.
If he's with Mos its all good.
ASAP Mobb, Flatbush Zombies, 2 Chains, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Tyga, Ying Yang Twinz, wale, see where im going with this..
