No Jus Allah is a blow.

I was hoping Virtuoso might be brought back into the fold after hearing "Co-Virt Ops"
    ....but sadly not.

There's bound to be some crack on here though.

Distorted base much? Distracting at first but grows on you after another listen.

    Esoteric is surprisingly bearable.

This is somewhat interesting. An AOTP track recorded in Feb 2011 that didn't see the light of day to my knowledge with Jus Allah on it. Has there been an interviews stating a falling out? Other than the Slaine Twitter shit.

    after 3 listen throughs...

I want to say they are on the decline now... I'm a huge fan, but seems like this album is rushed.

The sequencing of the album is very off, similar beats are grouped with each other. The pacing isn't done well.
The beats often overpower the MC.

I know nothing will be as good as the 1st 2 albums, but it seems they don't care for hooks, or anthem titles anymore. I'm trying to like it, but I can only agree on 3-4 songs at the most. I had really high hopes for this after hearing the 2 singles. Also, the beats feel like they did a grab bag of beats, tried to be diverse, but for me it didn't click.

I was hoping the pre-order d/l link was a mistake or something. I don't know, what do you guys think?

    This is a strange one.

The 1st time I listened to it I wasn't that impressed at all.

The 2nd time I listened to it I thought it was pretty serious.

Now I'm kinda in the middle.

I believe this is part 1 of a 2 part album that will drop later this year if I'm not mistaken?

There's a lot wrong with this( like Vinnie Paz on every track bar 1 and Demoz on just 1)

And like Razorsharp mentioned above : Their 1-sided format on here is overworked to death.

As well as the songs seeming to come in batches of 3-4 rather than it effortlessly flowing.

Saying that their are some great moments like "Azareal" & "Ninkyo Dantai"

Apathy is taking the piss on here as well.

I just hope the 2nd part is better well rounded than this one.

Or at least connects to this making it more balanced.

Remember when A.O.T.P. Albums had Emcees like:

Virtuoso, Faez-One, Chief Kamachi, Jus Allah ?

I think also getting the CD will maybe help with the clarity when I play it in my car. I feel like they are just going through the motions with this one. I'm really disappointed in Reef & Celph Titled, I expected them to fire up on some songs. Celph Titled seems like he is doing the GZA, and sounds bored.

Apathy did some work I appreciated.

The worst album of them all so far. Let's hope Apathy's solo album won't make me lose hope.

It seems they packed alot of the better songs to the end, but I can't make it to the end willingly.
