I think you're right, the (slight) misinfo by the media is great promo in this situation, which is probably the reason nobody in the Wu camp is setting the record straight. There's no reason they should as it's harmless, people aren't actually being misled. For all intents and purposes, it IS a Clan album after all. It's not as if everybody was in the studio at the same time while creating 'ABT'.

But how long can they keep it in the limelight that way? Additional promo (material) this summer is not a bad idea, I think.

Since the Kickstarter idea doesn't fit with the plan Cilva & RZA have for the album, there's no use funding. They aren't going to accept the Kickstarter money, no matter how high, cuz then they aren't making a statement any more.

I think that's what the Wuki package was supposed to be. I'd personally be happy with all of the unreleased Holocaust material from the late 90s.
