Preach, preach! THE GOD ISLORD enhances every song he is on. In the studio they're always coaching him DOWN, saying, 'Islord, man, don't go TOO hard, don't obliterate the guy you're supposed to be starring next to.' Truth be told, that's why we so rarely get to hear THE GOD ISLORD. Rappers are too afraid to collaborate. Same story on 'Once upon a time in Shaolin'. His verse was too raw.
Also notice how it took 5 MCs & 1 producer to match the epic greatness of THE GOD ISLORD in Kill-UH-army.
We need a Cappuchino x Islord collabo album asap. They could call it 'Outta the wardrobe, still in the closet'.
This song >>> Cappa's catalogue after his first album.

Btw. It's supossed to be an album with no hook, but the thing the gril sings in jamaican sounds kinda like a hook
"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth" (Rev. 3:15-16)
The subject matter on Park Hill Ave was good and also the beat for Vibes Cartel. That's all though.
Forgettable
Cappa is tolerable only in small doses. Beats aren't horrible but man.. I can only take so much Cappa these days.
'Soul Food' & 'Vibes Cartel' were okay. The flow he uses on the last song ('Cappa') is not what I want to hear from him. This is all pretty much the level I expect from Cap : average.
Tnx for posting the link, Art.
