Default Natti (of CunninLynguists) solo album from last year was WAYYYYY to slept on

Been a huge CunninLynguists fan for some time now and l thought this album was excellent. When i first seen the production credits i was a bit dissapointed there wasnt more Kno beats, but when i played this shit through Deacon has proved he is becoming a monster on the boards. While Kno is well known as a dope producer (and well deserved) imo Deacon is quietly getting better and better, and what i love is that he has his own sound, kinda like an early outkast, mixed with a bit of UGK and some Dirty Acres era CL thrown in for good measure. Hopefully he produces a lot more.

Natti has proven once again to be a quality emcee. I wasnt sure he could pull off a full album b himself but he proved he is more than capable. Great variety in subject matter and a distintive voice that sounds perfect on these beats.

    Check it out..

Agreed. The entire album is fire. I was pleasantly surprised with how dope Deacons production was.

We went and saw these cats at a hood ass venue in denver a few weeks ago

They killed the show. Awesome performance. And Im not even that big of a fan

Then we chopped it up with Natti outside for a while. Hes cool as fuck. we were talking for a long ass time after streets cleared and everything

lmao my boy told him something like "I didnt expect your album to be tight, but I loved it"

    LOL

I thought that was fucked up but he just laughed it off

it was 4/20 weekend in denver actually. that whole weekend was crazy

Earlier, we were chilling and one of the cats from our group didnot have a ticket to teh show

one of our boys hit these cats up on twitter to see if they could help.

And sure enough they replied and put our boys name on the Guest List

    shit was real cool

    I agree..

And yeah. They performed live two days ago over here, the placed was packed (rather small venue though) and they absolutely killed it.

As for Deacon's production, I wasn't surprised. He'd already produced this even more slept-on gem a few years earlier:

Man I am fuckin jealous, I'd love to b hearing CunninLynguists for the first time, you have some amazing albums to get through, some of the best hiphop of the 2000's.

I was gonna post a few videos, but their albums work so well as albums, and you can start with any their all THAT good. Dirty Acres took a while to grow on me but that's it
