i agree it's not trash, but Akon is soooo fucking played out at this point and for the first single from "FILA" i would like to hear something iller than this for sure... something more hardcore. Rae is on point as usual though

Because Akon was overexposed a few years back (PAUSE) any song since featuring him feels played out the first time you hear it. The only one to counter this effect imo was Dre with 'Kush' where he made Akon sound just a little different, or because he made the beat really fit his voice. Same goes for 'Still kill' with Fiddy.
At this point it's probably best for rappers to leave Akon alone.
I have no problems with Rae's verse, but we need to hear the full song.
