didn't listen to a lot of rnb this year, but LP1 was probably aoty for me, and i shamelessly enjoyed tinashe's album. this was the rnb track of the year though:

yeah that d'angelo new album is nice, its not wall too wall out and out blatant bangers like his first album, its kinda like a continuation without missing a beat, of the voodoo album, slow sizzling burners, bubbling till it reaches fever point, you see what i'm saying, ha ha

I was always worried that the autotune would continue to ruin the genre.

But I always felt like guys like Ro James was keeping it alive.
