Ive been trying to find a decent review. I need a new game to play.

Sounds interesting and it's getting a lot of hype but it looks too much like Halo to me with some RPG elements thrown in

i got about 6 hours into the full game, played the beta at least 12.
if you ignore the overblown hype/ expectations surrounding the game its decent IMO, the RPG/ leveling up aspect keeps me hooked so far
i dont think there's many great muliplayer FPS's on PS4 yet so it was worth my purchase, better than COD ghosts for sure

there's no way I could do a full and accurate review after 6 hours in but my initial reaction is a 7/10
reading a bunch of online reviews it seems people say it doesn't do FPS elements as well as dedicated FPS, and it doesn't do RPG/ MMORPG elements as well as dedicated RPGs, it meets somewhere in the middle

Ghosts looked so shitty that I didn't even bother to play it. The new one coming out looks even worse. At least I gave Destiny a shot.

lol yeah i agree ghosts was miserable, i returned it after 3 weeks. then a couple months later my friends bought a PS4 so i bought ghosts again for $20 just so i could play them...

then i traded it in a second time towards destiny after playing it once lmao

Destiny is decent, its basically Halo gameplay is the same. Still don't get the whole MMO thing. Its not good enough to warrant me going out and buying a next gen system though.

Ghosts is up there with MW3 as one of the worst COD's. The new one Advanced Warfare looks like a Titanfall rip off. I think so far the best FPS on the next gen has been Titanfall, but problem with Titanfall was the amazing lack of content which meant the game got boring real quick.

well gave another chance to this game, its aight, lots of guns, and lots of enemyes. some times its hard, even if u only lvl 4-5. will play more.

for some reason i like running around doing random missions and killing non-player enemies over the deathmatches. the core gameplay is real solid.
im level 13 now and always get matched with a bunch of max level 20+ players in deathmatches

I've been playing this joint nonstop since it came out. For me it's like Borderlands meets halo, than anything else. I'm not a fan of Halo, but I love the fuck out of this game. It's just fun riding around like a Jedi on speeder bikes and fucking up Aliens. You cap out at level 20, then you have to find rare gear and level that up to increase your level above 20.

What I like about when you go to heads with other people online, they level out everyone's health and damage stats, but the other perks in the guns (seem to) carry over so you can have slight advantage with a gun with a high rate of fire and stability or faster reloads.

I haven't gotten bored with it yet, but it's fun. Overrated fun.

yeah they do get rid of level advantages in the deathmatches, but like you said some things carry over. Those 20+ lvl characters have extra abilities like going invisible, air-melee attacks and such. I've ran into people with guns that kill me in one shot with full shield/ health.
ill probably get deep into player matches once I hit lvl 20.
PS. hand cannons are fun as hell, i usually hate pistols in FPS's

Would you guys recommend it for Mulitplayer? I dont usually care about campaign modes in FPSs
