watched the pilot, looks pretty shit lol. Some stupid parts and some bad acting but it doesn't take itself seriously I think like the walking dead. Will probably check the next episode to see if it gets any better, might be some good zombie kills!

lol, yeah I didn't realize it was the SyFy channel till I started watching it. Usually give a new series 3-4 episodes to see if I like it so we'll see.... Been watching the Strain on FX from Guillermo del Toro, that's been getting better as it goes on

I was going to say that I didn't like the stupid baby killing the main guy in the first episode. The military guy seemed like a cartoon character, but I still didn't want him to get killed. Is DJ Qualls going to hook up with a fat black woman in the 'radio station'?

I watched the second episode, why were the zombies slow in that one but fast in the first episode? Not sure if I missed an explanation of that

lol, nah they just looked like the ones in the first episode but they were just stumbling along and easily avoided! It might have explained it and I just missed it or it might explain it later on

They can do anything we want them to if it’s cool. Our zombies are evolving, the virus is changing. We have a much broader view of zombies than a show like The Walking Dead does. Those are slow zombies, too. It’s a little bit of a problem in that you almost have to be an idiot to get killed by a slow zombie. We have fast zombies. The main rule is the zombies are on an arc with how long ago they died. A fresh zombie is fast, and as they begin to decay, they get slower and slower.
