Default Mobb Deep - Juvenile Hell (1993)

The Mobb's 1993 debut is overlooked by many (atleast over here), but imo it's their 3rd best album. Produced by Havoc, DJ Premier and Large Pro, this album has ill beats. It's both dope and a bit funny to hear young P and Hav (about 18/19 years old) spit ill qb street tales. It's easy to hear they was just getting started, cause they def. stepped up on the infamous, but they got skills on this album too. Besides hav & p, Big Noyd makes a classic appereance on "Stomp 'Em Out", doing maybe one of his best verses ever. drop your thoughts.

i think prodigy was like 17/18 when this came out, cause somewhere on the infamous he says something about being 19 years old.

Yeah, he says: I'm only 19 but my mind is older from shook ones.

Juvenille Hell, a 100% classic! Every song and skit on that shit is 10/10
One of my favorite albums, and i neva get tired of listening that pure hardcore shit! And their best release!

Naaah, he was 19 at that time. Born in 1974.

Yeah, Juvenile Hell is a banger but not a classic. Favorite tracks: Locked in Spofford, Hold Down the Fort, Hit It From the Back

You gotta be jokin', puttin this before Infamous? WTF? Infamous changed the game, son. Mobb themselves admitted they could make Hell much better.

this album rules. i too have it as my 3rd favorite mobb LP. "peer pressure" is old school as fuck, as is "me and my crew"

"hold down the fort" has the illest bass line.

no way in hell that this is better than The Infamous but its a decent enough album

the older mobb is definently better but as of now i wouldn't say so
