If i remember the new 52 comic well, commisioner Gordon's son, who is a serial killer turns out to be the bigger villain in the whole story, that would be a dope angle to use in the movie too

Rumor has it that aquaman is captured and is being held in the prison.

According to his sources, Aquaman (Jason Momoa) is being held captive by Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) in Suicide Squad for the purpose of experimentation. But the more interesting piece of information relates to how the sea-ruling hero came to be imprisoned. Supposedly, he was captured after fighting the supervillain known as King Shark, who is also being held captive by Waller.

Additionally, while the previous rumor – in which Batman breaks into LexCorp and accesses surveillance footage of Aquaman – suggested Lux Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) may have been responsible for imprisoning the hero, this new information negates that; instead, it hints at a possible partnership between Luthor and Waller.
