Most tracks feel that way to me.

The issue of the underground is another topic, but what's wrong with "Preacher's Daughter"? it's cool track

Preacher's Daughter is straight up terrible. It sounds like it was made by a cover band in a bar.

Too many bad tracks, feels like a compilation but in a year if somebody posts a poll for if Wu should do another album then most will say yes then come on here and diss the album smh

You're still misunderstanding. He's not talking about the way the album is organized and thematically arranged. He's talking about the nature of the beats. OB4CL was put together like a movie, but the beats themselves were just standard Hip Hop style beats. The beats on ABT have a lot more going on in general than your average Hip Hop beat.

The clan needs to be laced with tight production , lyrically theyll be inspired to spit raw shit.
If they make another one things need change.
Preacher's daughter is extremely dope imo. FAR superior to Heart Gently Weeps imo.
IMO Half of the tracks are dope, half are okay, and some of the hooks are almost unlistenable.

So far I give the album about a 7/10. RZA just tries to hard sometimes and it comes across as corny. A lot of the tracks on the album sound like they were really good tracks but the more time RZA sat on them the more he started adding elements that just flat out failed. I have very few complaints about the album but the complaints I have are monumental:
1 - hook on We will Fight SMH
2 - hook on Keep Watch SMH
3 - the disney/rock opera parts and beat switch on Ghosts verse in Miracle (extremely corny)
4 - Preacher's Daughter
Remove that shit and I'm listening to a 9/10 album imo.
Still am digging the album but also can't help but be disappointed a bit in some of RZA's production choices.

Yep I agree about the Miracle complaint. The beat switch alone would've been alright but the rock style hook at the end was unnecessary. I gotta admit I like how the hook is incorporated into the track.
We Will Fight is the one track I skip, I just can't seem to get into it.
I agree that Preacher's Daughter is better than Heart Gently Weeps. I think RZA pulled that one of fairly well.
I like how Felt, Mistaken Identity, Miracle, Necklace, A Better Tomorrow and Never Let Go are all tracks with a clear/central theme. Considering how difficult it was to make the album it's cool that just under half the album are concept tracks.

Production wise, the album is dope imo, just the hooks in songs like Miracle & Keep Watch, Preacher's Daughter fucks up the vibe 4 me
half 8D & half ABT makes a Wu Classic album
