Good old rappers that are still doing music haven't sold records since the 90's. So it's good to see that Wu Tang can still sell records in this decade of bad rap music that's gonna continue to get worse LOL.

even though I don't like the album I gotta say I'm a little surprised - thought it would've done better

back on 11/18 in another thread I estimated 30k first week though. Curious to see how Ghost does his first week

Jay-Z sold 528 000 copies of "Magna Carta Holy Grail" in his first week. And that was 2013.

And by the way, nobody's streaming "ABT" in Spotify. Just go in and see it yourself. I'm a Spotify-user, and I've seen how the streaming bars for the songs on the album are mostly 3/10. Maybe 2 songs had 4.5/10.

So no, I wouldnt say these numbers have to do with Spotify :/

Ever heard of popularity? Jay-Z is obviously WAY more popular than the Wu Tang Clan. Wu Tang have very few fans aside from the die hard fans from the 90's. Do you somehow think Wu Tang could approach Jay-Z sales numbers if they put out the greatest album you ever heard right now?
