It would have been great to have them rap on this. I always liked this beat.
hellzzzz yeazzzz
repped
this beat is still hard as nails
Retired.
It pissed me off when I first heard this beat on The W intro...and RZA didn't use it for a song.
STAY TUNED.
^ Imagine how many beats of this calibre he must be holding onto in the vaults. I think in one of the past interviews around the time CL2 was coming out, Rae said that RZA has a lot of ill beats but he won't use them, instead he'll offer artists what he thinks they should have as opposed to what they want.
this is definitely one song that actually exists with verses on it... i don't know if it's the same on all editions of "The W" or if they fixed that later but when i bought the album just when it dropped it had a different tracklist than what was actually on the CD and they had just put a sticker with the correct tracklist over the wrong/original one.
on mine it says:
01. "Intro (Jah World)" (Ft. Junior Reid) / "Chamber Music"
02. "Careful (Click Click)"
03. "Hollow Bones"
04. "Conditioner" (Ft. Snoop Dogg)
05. "The Monument" (Ft. Busta Rhymes) / "Intermission (Jah World)"
06. "Do You Really (Thang, Thang)"
07. "One Blood Under W" (Ft. Junior Reid)
08. "Let My Niggas Live" (Ft. Nas)
09. "Gravel Pit"
10. "SHAOLIN FINGER JAB"
11. "Protect Ya Neck: The Jump Off"
12. "Redbull" (Ft. Redman)
13. "I Can't Go To Sleep" (Ft. Isaac Hayes) / "Outro"
the flow on that seems really good imo

send that to 97 Majesty. he's (or they) are supposedly together an alternate mix of The W called Them. there is some song called "task force 36" that was on the original tracklist, the full version of what became "spotlight" ("redbull" was recorded late in the sessions), aaliyah was the only non-wutang hiphop artist on it, and there's that inSANE rza beat that a few people here must know about.
i dont know why that heavy.com shit isnt anywhere on the internet. i remember seeing an upload of that somewhere, we need to get that shit from them. a lot of people were disappointed with that album when it came out after hearing what was in that video.
where did this come from, anyway?
YEah the heavy.com shit got me mad hyped for the lp, then we got the one released. Such a let down.
Where did this come from? Someone has to have it with lyrics!
they should have made the full Shaolin Finger Jab as a bonus hidden song instead of "Clap". They should've just left Clap for the Mathematics CD which eventually became "Thank U (Da DJ's Version)"
