oh yeah - the three RZA beats on the Ghostdog instrumental album are all ridiculous. Especially RZA's theme, and the one that later became 16th Chamber (ODB Special)

not really the same thing but i've always been a bit annoyed that the "certified samurai" beat from the afro samurai soundtrack was a better bassier version that we got on "starter" from 8D

Shaq-Fu / RZArector / Method Man - "No Hooks" should have been on the TICAL CD which came out the same month as the Shaq-Fu CD

If its alright with you Cappa and U-God. Produced by 4th.
I think it wouldve sounded good on Forever
A good way to shine Cappa and Ugod..
Even though black shampoo was alright for what it was..
Or it couldve went on The Swarm album..
It had no 4th disciple beats or Cappa and U-God on there..

    New Wu Order!!!
The Rza and LA the Darkman
On Forever.. first or last track

'Tragedy' by RZA & True Master
It is indeed a fucking tragedy that this was originally on the Rhyme & Reason OST (and Wu-Chronicles was scant consolation). That is simply not fucking good enough for a song of this calibre. The beat / lyrics / RZA's delivery / and video, put this in the upper echelons of Wu material.
At times it is sombre to hear this with hindsight. When I first heard this (it was on BBC 2 programme hosted by Tim Westwood) - I was flabbergasted. I really thought that this was an early single for RZA's solo album. Hence my disappointment.

Even though Tragedy was surely something that was at the time saved for The Cure, it was recorded during the build-up to Wu-Forever ("97 February"), and is perfect for that album. However, given that Sunshowers is on there, and the the album has enough classic material already, I would have saved this jewel for The W (or even Iron Flag at a stretch), just to give the album some Forever flavour. I would keep the song exactly as it is - no other emcees necessary.

^ That's an underrated track imo. The baseline in Mistaken ID kinda reminds me of the Clan In Da Front Intro/ Whar baseline, so it probably would've fit on ABT.

^ Tragedy is definitely classic. RZA lyrically and flow wise at his best in 1997.
    STAY TUNED.
