I think with France you have to take in the fact that most of the muslims in France are from former French colonies. Its not like the French were nice to their colonies. Its also French society which is not friendly with its muslim population.
Now you have this youth which is becoming more radical, they read online what the French did to their people back in Algeria. So theres this anger. They fight all under the guise that they are fighting for the religion. However what they are doing does more harm to the religion not only religion but everyone elses freedom. Now you got British intelligence asking the government for even more power to prevent terrorism and such, so to basically rape whatever freedom people have left.
One thing I just don't get is why people want the muslim community to go out and you know speak out, fully condemn. Why the fuck do I have to apologise for the actions of these two dudes. They are Algerians in France, I have as much in common with them as a Swede has with a Bolivian. Yeah same religion but you know I don't really give a shit.

there was a hostage situation in a Jewish supermarket in Paris a few hours ago, the hostage taker being Amédy Coubali, the same guy who killed a cop and injured a city official in Paris yesterday.
this perp is not one of the brothers who attacked the charlie hebdo offices. some media claim this hostage taker threatened to kill the six hostages if the police did not give free passage to the charlie hebdo shooters who were about to be taken in.
at about 5 pm local time the police made their way into the Jewish supermarket and killed the hostage taker. by then the charlie hebdo brothers had already been killed by the police in another part of France.

in a telephone convo with French media Chérif Kouachi, one of the brothers who assaulted the charlie hebdo offices, said he was funded by Al Qaeda in Yemen
Amédy Coulibaly declared to French media he was a member of IS/isis , also stated he had been in touch with the Kouachi brothers about the planning of the attacks
the phone calls will be released to media world wide later on today, according to the same French media
