there's a lot of good and great albums that these writers don't get.. Metacritic rarely uses too much hip hop press anyways so it's often people with little understanding of the music and culture.

actually i wasn't mad at all on "Teach Me", that's the last song right? thought it was kind of cool, though i can see why it was a bonus track.. for me bonus tracks are just that. songs that are not part of the album (i consider albums an experience, like a film), so it's bonus material in the same vein bonus material on a DVD like deleted scenes

ya its cool with the double time flow.....just different vibe than the album. im excited with what Pro Era is going to produce in the next few yrs. Nyck Caution, Dessy Hinds, Dyemond Lewis, CJ Fly, A La $ole and even Kirk Knight have bars for days.

Sold 50K first week. More than Lupe and #1 for hip hop and #4 on the top 200. Pretty good for independent label and a good sign for hip hop overall
