    Default John Wick

Watched this flick for the first time this past weekend.

Realyl liked it, especially since it had that indie/low budget feel to it....no need for fancy special effects, just plain action pure & simple.

Keeanu Reeves looks like he did his own stunts, and certainly breathes fresh air into his acting considering I found both 47 RONIN & Man of Tai Chi disappointing (though it was pretty awesome seeing Keeanu play the bad guy for once.....Man of Tai Chi was certainly not my fav movie but was worth it overall for a 6 or 7/10 rating IMO).

Highly recommended if you have not seen and there's talks of a sequel as well:

I saw John Wick and it's good. I like the cute woman Bridget Monahan who was Keanu's wife and she died. He kept having flashbacks of her. She plays on Blue Bloods tv show with Tom Selleck and Donnie Wahlberg.

Have you seen Keanu in Street Kings with Forest Whitaker, Terry Crews and Cedric The Entertainer? I was surprised Cedric was in this because he usually plays in silly movies. Rapper Common also had a small part in it. I got it on dvd. There was a Street Kings 2 with Ray Liotta and i liked it. Ray played a dirty cop and he's played a dirty cop before in Unlawful Entry with Kurt Russell and Narc with Jason Patric.

I stopped watching after 15 minutes (streamed it), too many clichés at the very beginning, I mean with the dog etc just too obvious, also Keanu's not really the most convincing actor ever, it didn't look like he was gonna sell that part in the movie

might give it another shot later since everyone who posted here seems to have enjoyed it

I heard there's gonna be a remake of Keanu and Patrick Swayze's Point Break. That movie doesn't need a remake.

John Wick doesn't need a sequel. Can somebody tell me why Keanu wasn't in Speed 2? I didn't see Speed 2 because the previews looked wack.

Probably cause they wanted a better actor to be in the second one.
