Jeru is a very good lyricist but Jay is just as good plus has a better flow, better mic presence, can do great street songs and also great radio songs. Jay has a sense of humor and is just more versatile all around.
As for myself: I had come to the conclusion that there was nothing sacred about myself or any human being, that we were all machines, doomed to collide and collide and collide.

Surprised anybody but CJ voted for Jeru. He made 2 classic albums 20 years ago while Jay-Z made probably hundreds of classic songs in the same 20 years.

As much as Jay puts me off with all the money talk, I'd much rather hear that than angry raps about how the black community needs to educate themselves and the 16th chapel.

LMAO, half of his second album is a guilty pleasure - I can still vibe to the songs above lol - half of it has solid songs

I'd say Reasonable Doubt & Blueprint are really good and Black Album is close enough

    always been a fan
