Request: Who Ya Rollin Wit [Meth ft ODB]
Meth's Who Ya Rollin Wit (ft. Streetlife) from Tical 0 originally had ODB on the hook. I remember it leaking in the months leading up to Tical 0's release.
Dirty's hook was something like "let me do my thang thang thang [somethin somthin] bang bang bang..."
Anyone have this?
wow you sure about that?? never heard about that.... that sounds crazy, Puff Daddy REALLY fucked that album up big time, and Meth is of course heavily to blame to. there's a hand fulll of good songs, but RZA produced the best track on there "The Turn". and he originally had a lot more joints on there, but Pappa DIddy Pop and the execs vetoed against using them cuz he wasn't that hot anymore. FUCK TJEM!
what's really funny though is that "Tical 0" is the album that brought me back to Wu-Tang again haha... after the Naspter leak of "Iron Flag" i checked out some stuff but up until then I had bought EVERY single Wu-Tang Clan and affiliates CD, but past 2000 i completely stopped that....
then in 2004, a very close friend gave me an original cassette of "J-Love: A Taste Of Tical 0" (part III i think it was) and i was blown away, thinking tht Meth's new album must be bonkers. so i went ahead and bought that LOL. luckily it turned out so that despite how wack the album was i ordered all the Clan releases i had missed, and started buying the newer projects. I have the original "who ya rollin wit' somewhere. The track was originally released under a different name. I'll dig it up, i just looked quick and couldnt find it. I remember when T0 dropped thinking they ruined that song by changing the hook to its corny final version. I wna say there might have been another emcee on it too.
I remember that! I heard it back then...didnt like the beat...especially the producers names "Jellyroll" lol
The Prequel was a big dissappointment..but its not as bad appl make it out to be. Sure he went a commercial direction after not dropping for so long..but some of the joints are still bumpable..especially at a party..unlike most wu shit.
Still tho..i lisetn to a custom playlist of Prequel tracks and pretend like thats the one that came out in 2004. Shits dope. Ill post it soon

"Tical 0" man what a disaster that was.. how the fuck you're gonna cut out ODB from your album. listening to the track now, Meth is actually flowing tight on this though

There was a track Meth & RZA did for that 'Tical 0' album called 'This Thing'...man that shit was bangin! I remember being vex at the time that def jam didn't put that track on the album...but they wanted some commercial sounding ting.
Yeah, I read somewhere that Meth let LA have that track for his album which is never dropping anyways.
