Apparently the Xbox 1.5 or whatever will be twice as powerful. I can't help but feel that both Sony and Microsoft realised that this current gen is kind of a failure in terms of anything new. Or they just gonna do what the mobile phone industry does and release an updated product every 2 years to sell more hardware.

lol this is just crazy. Gamers really need to lighten the fuck up. I would rather have a game delayed so they could finish it properly instead of having something on time and unplayable because of the bugs.

Consoles are outdated from the moment they are announced. They're always a hardware failure but they're successful because they're easy and people don't need to put effort in. Both Sony and Microsoft know that they can sell anything. They sell the right to play online lol consoles every 2 years will be a thing

No Man's Sky, the hotly anticipated adventure game due out this summer, won't suffer a last-minute name change. Hello Games founder Sean Murray tweeted last night that the company had just settled with Sky, the UK's largest pay-TV broadcaster.
Murray didn't state what the terms of the settlement are, but apparently the legal battle has been plaguing Hello for years:

Taking on Sky was serious business, as it jealously guards its brand. The company took Microsoft to court in 2013 over the SkyDrive name. The UK court ruled in Sky's favor, and Microsoft eventually changed SkyDrive to OneDrive. Thankfully, Hello Games got a much more favorable outcome. No Man's Sky comes to PS4 and PC (finally!) on August 9th.
