I'm watching gameplay on Twitch and viewers are complaining that the game is super boring and the interface is a lot like Destiny's. What they do not realize is that No Man's Sky is an exploration space game, not a shooting game. The objective is to explore and discover new worlds. Why does this need to be explained over and over again?

tbh, based on everything ive seen ive actually had the same reservations about the game possibly being boring but hoped it wouldnt turn out that way, because i love anything space related and the game sounds dope in theory
obviously i still need to experience it, but it didnt seem like there was much interaction with anything

30 hour game, reviewers not getting their copy, remodelled textures galore, PC delayed. This is not going to live up to the hype sadly. Great idea in theory, doesn't seem like execution has pulled it off. Mass Effect is pretty much the best space exploration game atm

Yeah. I think we'll like this game. I have been watching on Twitch and all of the players like it. So...

Reviewers on PC games are important, especially a respected member of the community like TotalBiscuit. It's not about finding out if the game sucks or not it's about finding out if the performance sucks. It's a red flag in the PC community when people like that don't get review copies, especially a game that's done so well with preorders.

The day one patch seems to have addressed a bit of the negative feedback.

Ok. I will be totally honest here. I've been watching this on Twitch a lot and though it looks grand, I'm not seeing anything new. So, in a way, it seems a little repetitive and this game is new. I'll still purchase it, of course.

Btw, Time magazine didn't give this game a good review, nor did a few other big name reviewers. IGN's review is in progress.

However, as Grave stated earlier, you are your own critic. Personally, I like exploration, so No Man's Sky should be grand.

ima wait for Grave's assessment before i buy lol. I tend to have similar tastes so if he approves then I'll probably like it too.
I still have a lot to finish in Fallout 4, then Witcher is still unfinished, and MGS5, or else I'd just buy it right away.
