A Better Tomorrow
F.I.L.A
The album is so bad I removed any evidence it was on my phones playlist
A Better Tomorrow is the worst Wu-Tang album by far. 8 Diagrams and Iron Flag are classics in comparison. Awful beats, definitely their worst album LYRICALLY. Wait, the beats are also wack, definitely the worst. Up until ABT every Wu album had at least some good moments, I can't count one on ABT. ABT is the proof that there is no future in clan albums. I might be wrong, but Ghost is also losing it, especially his voice lately sounding a bit fucked up like Deck's.
@ Big King
RZA produced Rushing Elephants, Weak Spot & Life Changes on 8D. But I get what you mean, definitely lost it and I wonder why he's focusing on Hollywood. He's a bad actor and a terrible director.
It's done with the clan. If I listen to them I'll listen to the classics. What would make me play that wack album.
ABT is below par, but FILA is worse.
Atleast we have a few tracks from ABT. FILA there is 1
Necklace is the only banger on ABT.
8 Diagrams was the album when Wu-Tang started to sound like old men.
Felt
Hold the heater
Pioneer the frontier
Necklace
Never let go
for me
Retired.
All those suffered from weak production and boring verses. Filler material. Only necklace made you want to put the track on repeat.
What I expect them to sound like? No idea, some artists grow, some don't. Wu-Tang definitely didn't. Plus they already perfected the formula between 36 Chambers and Forever. Now everything they change make it sound weaker.
But the biggest thing is that RZA just shouldn't be in charge anymore. His vision sucks these days.
Couple of bangers on ABT, FILA is throw away material.

My break down of ABT in 3 groups. Peace
