    Default Wu-Tang Clan - "Wolves: 1st version"

Wow, I remember how disappointed I got when RZA switched the beat (big mistake). The first version of "Wolves" still amaze me, well done.

I ALWAYS preferred the original version.

Didn't RZA change it to appease grumpy ass Raekwon? I think there was an interview where RZA said Rae was calling one of the songs "some Black Eyed Peas shit," or something retarded...and that it had a b-boy vibe...had to be original Wolves.

That album version sounds like generic Wu-Tang-style beat #452.

Album version for me. The beat switch up with the original doesn't seem to mesh naturally.

I feel the same way. The album version sounds natural and this beat sounds like it was a mash-up or something

"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth" (Rev. 3:15-16)

I dig the album version more as well. That's one of my favorite beats on the record. This sounds less coherent, and more like a mixtape joint.

i never cared too much for the often called "disco version", and the darkness and ruggedness of the album version made it a stand out on the LP for me. this would not have the same impact and i also loved how coherrent "8D" stands as an album atmosphere wise and sound wise. i think that vibe would have been broken off a bit with this... it might have grown on me though, would love to hear it n great quality.
