The soundtrack earned mostly good reviews and was successful on the Billboard 200, peaking at #2. The soundtrack also managed to sell very well; it was certified as double platinum less than two months after its release, in January 1997. In 2001, the soundtrack was certified 6x Platinum.[3]
R.Kelly stole the show but Seal had a classic, Methodman, Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes, Monica the lord Coolio. The niggas that made the space jam anthem, which doubled for the young hoopers anthem.
Everything about it was crack. 6x platinum?! damn. That's a monster. Between "Space Jam" I believe I can fly" "Fly like an Eagle" "for you I will" "Hit em high" "That's the way I like" dude that album is 100% a classic. 0 filler, all bangers, all classics. God damn. Space Jam?! man forget about it.
